Fabrication & Additional Services
Alongside our basic framing service we also offer a range of additional design services aimed at galleries and artists requiring technical help. We also work closely with a network of freelance technicians specialising within their chosen field in order to offer a wider range of services. Most onsite services cost £30 per person per hour. Lightboxes
Our fluorescent tube light boxes are aimed more towards commercial events businesses and are ideal for vinyl cut lettering. Offering a vintage effect they are ideal for advertising your business, promoting a product, as a menu board or simply as a nice piece of interior design for the home. PLINTHS, furniture & CARPENTRY FABRICATIONS
We can create plinths to a specification. Plinths are made with mitred MDF and hand painted. Further to this we are able to offer stud wall construction, display boxes, shelving and other gallery, workshop and event based furniture. Our team love a creative challenge no mater how big or small.
Install/technician service
Our lead technician Alastair Eland had worked for over ten years within the arts and has a wealth of experience as a gallery technician, picture framer, artwork handler and carpenter. Jobs include artwork handling, installation, stud wall construction and onsite basic frame and mounting repairs.
GICLEE PRINTING
Hatch Space prints archival quality, professional standard Giclee prints up to A2 in size. Our printer utilises professional ink that delivers a high level of colour variation and detail. We are able to divide editioned print runs in groups of ten to keep costs down.
DESIGN SERVICE
On top of our carpentry service we also offer a computer based design service. This includes basic photoshop retouching, vinyl lettering and logo design. We also offer a basic Giclee printing service up to A2 in size.
Perspex boxes
Our team can create paper wrapped subs to mount artwork within perspex boxes. A stylish alternative to a wooden picture frame.
